Russell competed in and won the "Professional Showmanship" division in the 2006 Liberace Piano Competition held Sunday Evening, October 15th in Las Vegas NV.
There were 4 divisions in the competition:
Amateur – Classical;
Amateur – Showmanship;

Showmanship competitors performed on Liberace’s rhinestone covered Baldwin piano. Classical competitors performed on a loaned Bosendorfer Imperial Grand piano provided by Bosendorfer Pianos of Las Vegas.
